Levels of Education taught in the Madrasha:

  • Primary
  • Secondary
  • Higher Secondary
  • Dawra-e-Hadith (Title Class) opened in June 2019
  • Hifz along with the following languages: Arabic, Bangla, English, and Urdu
  • Hifz class average 35-40 students. Every year average 5-7 students completed course

Number of Students

Currently there are 350 Students. Every year the number of students is increasing.

Student Facilities

Patli Darul Ulum Madrasha provides free education to all the students. The Madrasha provides free books which are returned at the end of each academic year. Food is free for students who are accommodated in Boarding including free medication, and other help is also provided where necessary.

Staff of Madrasha

There are currently 26 teaching and non-teaching staff members.

Academic Year

The academic year runs from 11th Shaw’al to 14th Saban and special Holy Quran teaching in the month of Ramadan.

Funds

All of the expenditure of Patli Darul Ulum Madrasha are met from the donations and gifts. All the donations for this Madrasha that are received have a proof of donation. Receipts are kept for all expenditures. After the end of year, the Principal accounts for the income and expenditure in a Report. The Report is presented at the Moslishey Surah ) AGM ) of the Madrasha and read out in public to ensure transparency.

The Madrasha has four funds, and are as follows:

General Fund

This fund has been allocated to finance the teaching and non-teaching staff; plus general expenses like electricity, telephone etc.

Building Fund

This fund is for all the building works and maintenance.

Books Fund

This fund provides books for the student and teacher library.

Welfare Fund

This provides for disadvantaged students who cannot find financial support from anywhere else. Currently 150 students are housed in our boarding facilities.

Sources of Funding

UK-Patli Darul Uloom Madrasha Trust is now looking for sponsorship for over one hundred students. Sponsorship of £200 a year (per student) will cover food , clothing and education materials for each student.

UK Patli Darul Uloom Madrasha Trust will take full responsibility for sponsorship money and ensure that funds are allocated efficiently for the students.

Financial Commitments

PATLI DARUL ULUM MADRASHA HAS 350 STUDENTS and 21 TEACHERS of which 170 people (including STUDENTS, teachers and kitchen staff are BOARDING). Our boarding expenses are £2,000 a MONTH, with GENERAL EXPENSES of £2,000 a month. Opening a Title Class will increase this by £800, per month or about £10,000 pa.

Pass rate:

Over the past seven years student have achieved a 90 - 96% pass rate.

Student Hostel:

The completed building measures approximately 161 feet in length by 31 feet wide for each floor, which consists of 10 student rooms on the ground floor. In total there can be 40 modern well equipped student rooms which house 200 disadvantaged students who otherwise would not have benefited from this educational facility. The floors were completed after successfully securing donations from 40 donors.

The present building layout provides 20 individual rooms for students on the lower two floors, ground and first floor. Then the third floor has on the North side Hifz class room and on the South side space for 5 more student rooms and on the top fourth floor there is the Examination Board room for sitting exams on the North side and on the South side space for five more student rooms.

Annual Conference (Jalsa) – for each year:

In the first week of February we hold our annual Jalsa. We have over 1,000 people and many distinguished speakers from all over the country are invited as guest speakers. Our Board final Examination Centre was granted official approval after completing the student hostel.

First examination for Board Final exams started in 2012.

This year (2019) seven Madrasha participated.
